Members in good standing are subscribed to the members-only mailing list-- a low volume, high quality list that provides information on funding, conferences, and a wealth of information on community technology, community networks, and CN management. Many of the most experienced CN managers and designers are AFCN members, and you can directly tap their expertise.
AFCN members also receive a userid and account on the AFCN site. This gives you a personal or organizational weblog and the ability to ask questions and participate in forum discussions, as well as post certain kinds of information. More detailed benefits information is here. [1]
